I may be formed from mere muddy clay
Or said to be created by two microscopic cells
But don’t forget I was crowned champion among millions of equal cells.
And quickened by the breath of the almighty.
You may see me living in a brick house, made with man’s hands,
My real home can’t be touched; it is high there in the heavenllies,
Where I’m seated with Christ, far above principalities and powers.
They say life is tough and cruel; making even the mightiest crumble
But I don’t need to gun fight to win, someone fought and won for me already
All I do now is rule and reign. I am more than a conqueror.
Don’t even try; you can’t kill me!
Too late. I died already, with Christ. Now I’m raised with him.
My life is hid in him in God – secured.
I told you I’m no ordinary man.
I’m no ordinary man; I’m clothed not only in clothes,
But in higher designer labels of love, peace, kindness, joy, humility….
I don’t need no perfume
I’m a fragrance of Christ among the perishing and those being saved.
Watch it mister, you can’t have me
Highest bidder got me already – I belong to God!
I’ve been bought with the ultimate price; the debt against me is cancelled.
Back off, I’m no ordinary man.
I’m free, slave to non but righteousness
I am a saint, righteous, redeemed, perfect, holy before God.
Believe me when I say, ‘I am no ordinary man’
But then I could only boldly declare these
Because Christ lives in me!
