oyez created the topic: WHO KILLED SAMSON? AND IT'S NOT DELILAH. FIND OUT HERE!
Who killed Samson? What was his problem? Was it love or too much power?
Yoruba have a funny proverb, "Isan lo pa Bruce Lee." (Bruce Lee died as a result of too much muscles). Benin people have their own version, "If power too much, them dey troway am?"
For the next 7 Sunday evenings, starting tomorrow 4th of June 2017, we would be taking a journey into the short life of the strongest human that walked the face of the earth, Samson. Taking us on this journey is Damola and The Evening Sacrifice (Where Are Your Accusers) in a stage play titled GOD UNREHEARSED.
Spoiler Alert!!! It's not Delilah.
Now I'm certain I have your attention and you can't wait to watch.

The phrase "Catch Them Young" is best put to practice by God. And He even goes a step further. He catches them before they're born. So you can rephrase to "Catch before they hatch."
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."
That's the story of not just Jeremiah, John the baptizer and Jesus, it's the story of Samson.
A man called to be Nazarane for life, no razor should touch his hair nor should he drink strong wine. What more? It was forbidden that he should touch anything dead.
Did Samson follow through?

Apologies for coming late with this week's episode of GOD UNREHEARSED by Damola Akiobge & The Evening Sacrifice. A Drama & Worship ministration from Where Are Your Accusers 2016.
We are still looking at the rise and fall of Samson. Many people think Samson fell when he met Delilah but the truth is, he has been falling a long time ago. He had it coming all along.
We read of how he made a parable out of the honey he found and ate from the carcass of the lion he killed. But have we ever stopped to ask uncle Samson what he was doing with a body of a dead animal in the first place? He was a Nazarene and had no business with such. It was simply forbidden. He knew it was wrong because the Bible recorded that he never told his parents about it.
With great grace comes great responsibility. Could this be the problem with the so-called "Message of Grace" that a certain quarter now preach, where one relinquishes the consequences of his actions to grace, instead of taking advantage of grace to live above sin?
oyez replied the topic: GOD UNREHEARSED (Part 4) - How Samson Became the Ridicule of His Own Riddles
Delilah means 'devotee'. She was devoted to ending Samson's career/ministry. But you know what, she never lied to Samson.
The strongest man ever born of a woman became the ridicule of his own riddles. He could stand up to a thousand men but he fell for just one woman. The power isn't in the woman's charm, it's in the lack of control in Samson's arm that led to his harm.
We know the end of the story all too well that it made us skip the details. Did you know, that when Delilah asked Samson for the source of his strength, he gave her wrong answers initially that exposed Delilah's plans? "My Book Of Bible Stories" didn't tell us this.
Watch this episode of Damola Akiogbe's GOD UNREHEARSED and see how the Samson entered the fatal trap with both eyes wide open only to end up blind. You will dread the luck of his deadlocks.
