Founder of The Synagogue Church of All Nations, SCOAN, Prophet T.B. Joshua had been reported dead on Saturday evening, 6th of June, 2021o at the age of 57 years. A post on his Facebook page, which has more than five million followers, said: "God has taken His servant". He was said to have died on Saturday shortly after conducting a live broadcast, but the cause of his death was yet to be disclosed. According to a report gathered by Peoples Gazette through a family member at the request of anonymity, the popular televangelist and controversial preacher, Pastor Temitope Balogun Joshua died shortly after concluding a church program in Lagos.
 

One of the pastor’s lawyers Olalekan Ojo also confirmed his death. “I confirm that the man of God, pastor TB Joshua passed away on Saturday after his evening programme,” Ojo told AFP news agency. Pending an official statement from the family and the church of the deceased, the cause of death of the respectable man of God remains undisclosed. TB Joshua is one of the influential charismatic pastor, televangelist and philanthropist in Africa who was the leader and founder of The Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN), a Christian megachurch that runs the Emmanuel TV television station, Nigeria’s largest Christian broadcast station. Tens of thousands would attend his services, with top politicians from across Africa among his followers Pastor T.B. Joshua reigned for several decades as an incandescent preacher who was passionate about saving souls for Christ and surrounded with so much controversies. May his soul rest in peace!
