Hi GospelNaija,

I have a question as regards running errands in the office. My boss asked me to purchase an item, on getting to the shop, I negotiated with the seller and he gave me a discount of about 10 percent. I want to know, as a Christian, am I suppose to return the "change" to my boss or keep it to myself since it was through my bargaining that I got it.

Kindly advise.

Man, I don't have a direct answer for this o but let's see.
Put yourself in the position of your boss, would you expect some change/balance from your staff? Would you get angry if you later discovered that they bought the item for less the price? That's how I see it, I believe we are supposed to run our company's business like it's our private own.
