"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me" (Psalm 23:4, KJV).
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR
Sometimes, God can deliberately allow an enemy to come after us because He wants to destroy them. At such instance, we might think that God is not aware of what we are going through. Worse still, we might feel that God has forgotten that he began the journey with us.
We might as well doubt our calling. Fellow believers close to us may begin to think that we are under God's punishment for indulging in some secret sins; or that we have delved into some kind of error. Child of God, no matter how wrongly they judge you in that predicament, realise that the presence of God does not guarantee the absence of challenges or enemies.
The God, who is capable of preparing a table before you in the presence of your enemies can also keep quiet while your enemies roar. When the Egyptians got so close to the Israelites, it was like all Hope was lost. But, that moment was the beginning of their miracle. Sometimes, God delivers you from the storm and sometimes He shields you in the storm.
No matter what happens or what you see, do not fret. Do not stop believing. Do not be tempted to turn against God; or speak against Him. Do not start walking in unrighteousness even when you don't feel His presence. Stay strong in His word, prayer and worship. He is ever ready to use you to destroy the enemies while you walk through the storm.
God is with you in that storm, He will work out glory to Himself.
Lord, may your presence be eminent in the storms of my life.
